- Current Events MUST be from The New York Times.
- Articles MUST be current (nothing over a week old, unless permission is given).
- Students CANNOT repeat options. They MUST choose a new number each time. Some options are not applicable, i.e. contests, etc.
- Current Events are a PROJECT grade. Every day the CE is late, 10% will be deducted.
- Current Events will be assigned on a bi-weekly basis and due every other Friday, unless a different due date is given.
- Students can choose from any of the applicable prompts listed on this site: 50 Ways to Teach with Current Events
- Students MAY need to fill out a page that corresponds with whatever CE they choose. They are available to download in PDF format by the link above. They are also available to download below and are linked by number.
- Current Events must be in complete sentences!
